I know it’s not sunday, but time is a construct, and we can name days whatever we want, and considering I put off sending this email for 4 days…
Ends are hard. And figuring out what to say in them is even harder.
And not that this is the end of this newsletter, but exactly 366 days ago I made a commitment to send this email every Sunday.
That commitment has come to its completion, and for that I’m very grateful. A year ago I exported a gmail contacts list that I never even checked*, added a bunch of people without their consent, and started emailing every week. Luckily ya’ll stuck with me, through Costa Rica and sloths and lots of poems and uncomfortable feelings. Ya’ll sent me emails and texts and comments and stayed with me through it all. I appreciate you**, and hope ya’ll got as good as I gave.
I’ll be back in mid-June with more regularly scheduled programming, and maybe even sooner to share some work that is to come out soon. But until then I’ll be in New Hampshire, thinking/writing/dreaming about aliens and outer space, and hopefully becoming a better artist.
*I never even checked it, I was too scared.
**I actually made a sweet little voice memo with a note of love on Sunday, but the audio was bad cause i was driving in the car. But imagine (and know!) that I love you, and not in a parasocial way, but a “we are the world” sort of way.
